On the 5th of July, UK Gospel group Darren Evans-Henry & Essence released their new single ‘Your Grace Is Sufficient’, it’s their first reggae single as a group, though reggae is a firm favourite and a regular feature at their live concerts. Backed by their resident band, this single has an authentic smooth reggae production and lyrics that will encourage and strengthen your faith in God.

Darren says “Your Grace Is Sufficient is a fresh and vibrant song with a cool reggae vibe. The song carries an uplifting message to remind people of God’s sufficient constant love and grace.”

Inspiration behind the song

“The song was written upon a reflective moment. The realisation of God’s grace constantly surrounding His people is amazing. God is constant and His love never changes, it is undeserved and unreserved for anyone who will accept it. God’s grace keeps us in the lowest of times when we thought we wouldn’t make it. So, I penciled this song to encapsulate this. Jesus is the light of the world, and He offers mankind pardon from sin. I wanted to write a song that carriers the Gospel message. The song is written to God and sung to God as a love letter, but bearing in mind all His children should hear/know about the love and grace of God”. – Darren Evans-Henry, Essence founder

Darren Evans-Henry is man of God who clearly loves the Lord, and this is evident in his ministry through song, word and deed. A man who’s about his father’s business seeking to win the lost. ‘His grace is sufficient’ is such a wonderful uplifting song that reminds us that God’s gift of grace gives us the strength to endure the vicissitudes of life. May this track be a blessing to the masses that will hear it.” – Award Winning Gospel Minister Joshua Kesler

Nice uplifting sweet gospel reggae vibes sure to make you move”! – Gospel creative and Preacher Isaiah-Raymond Dyer
