Inspiration Behind The Song

Luke 6:45 states that, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

At a time of great loss and sadness, after coming through a double family bereavement 4 weeks apart, as well as battling with personal health issues which left me in constant pain, I was surprised that when I opened my mouth to sing, the lyrics of this thanksgiving song began to flow. Life will test the overflow of our hearts in valley moments, and I am so grateful to God by his mercy & grace, that despite everything, I am able to sing that “He’s Been Good To Me.”
