Because Of Who You Are by LitaMarie

Up and coming UK artist LitaMarie releases her second Gospel Reggae track, within months of her debut “Don’t Sound TheAlarm”.

Officially released July 20, LitaMarie covers American Gospel Singer Songwriter, Martha Munizzi’s 2002, track “Because Of Who You Are”.

The Reggae Project was spearheaded by Howard Buckley and Tony Thompson, Howard being a founding member of the UK based recording studio. Righteous Corner Productions (RCP), originally formed in 1999 as a Distribution Company (RCP Ltd). Following Co founder Ron Rodney’s departure, Howard Buckley took the helms, with Tony Thompson joining soon after, together they built recording studio “Jahovah Jireh” mixing lab.

Story Behind The Project

The cover came about, on seeing a video of LitaMarie singing ”Because Of Who You Are”, on social media. Howard made contact, talks began and the rest is history. The riddim was built in Jamaica, by various musicians from the Firehouse Crew. The project took a year to complete, with LitaMarie’s vocals being sent to Jamaica, where the musicians, created the production around her vocals.

The cover also features Jamaica’s legendary Saxophonist Dean Fraser. Righteous Corner Productions (RCP), also release an instrumental reggae cover, by UK Saxophonist Antonio Belgrave ft. Dean Fraser.
