Brothers Shane and Dean Brown – aka SONZ OF THUNDER UK – have rocked the stages at many festivals and community events through their inspirational lyrics with reggae and dancehall.

Off stage, the pair received great responses from track, ‘It’s All About Love’ after being aired several times on Channel AKA (formerly Channel U). Their cover to Drake’s hit ‘Once Dance’ (entitled ‘God on the Mind’) clocked up over 6,000 views to date on Facebook alone and ‘More To Life’, dominated the airwaves of local community stations, creating major buzz around the pair throughout 2013 and 2014.

After taking a year break, SONZ OF THUNDER UK made a bold return with EP ‘New Levels’ in July 2016, distributed by VP records sub-label VPAL. The eight-track collection includes anthem-ready bangers, ‘God on the Mind’, ‘More To Life’, plus bonus track ‘Frontline Testimony’.

Kicking off 2017 with a bang, ‘Frontline Testimony’ further fuelled their recognition online, receivingpraises from The Link Up, Choice For Music FM, Guestlist and Vents magazine. Continuing the hype, promo track, ‘For The City’ (sampled from WSTRN’s hit ‘In2’) received support from The Voice Newspaper (online).

In response to the terror attacks in London Bridgeand Finsbury Park and the Grenfell fire tragedy,the brothers released track, ‘London City Anthem’. Paying homage to the community’s unity following the tragic events,’ London City Anthem’ earned them a spot at The Voice Newspaper’s I Love Jamaica Day Festival in July 2017, sharing the stage with reggae heavyweights, Christopher Ellis and Luciano.
