Jamaican Gospel artist Jodian Pantry returns to the Gospel scene, with her April 2022 release When I’m Back On My Feet Again, a reggae remake of the 1989 hit by Micheal Bolton. The track is in collaboration with Paul Patmore Productions.
Jodian says
“Mr. Paul Patmore is the genius behind this song. He was the one who deposited the song into my soul and it really did Hit me to the core. I cried when I heard it. He said Jody this is your song. Get up and live your life. Use the hurt to propel you into a better version of yourself. And we are going to do this together in Reggae style.” – Maria Jackson Magazine
Jodian Pantry also released a remake of Peter Tosh’s Picking Myself Up released May 2022, also in collaboration with Paul Patmore Productions.
In recent television interviews Jodian hinted at the nature of her last relationship, while expressing her gratitude for having survived it (mentally, emotionally etc.). Although she did not come out and say it, viewers are left with the impression that the union was an abusive one.
That said, Jodian Pantry and her team have chosen songs with a reflective theme of survival, perseverance and persistence.
Fans and supporters are anticipating the full EP, which is due out at the end of July.
